Backup Disaster and Recovery Solutions
(BDR)

When you are the midst of a disaster, you will want to know that your backups are ready to go.

For disaster recovery it would be nice to have a file level backup, a standby virtual environment, and a fall-back offsite data repository that works for your Microsoft Server environment. Our BDR solution delivers a great deal of flexibility and value for the Microsoft Server environment.

Small businesses face the same IT challenges as larger organizations, but are more vulnerable when it comes to recovering from a disaster. Small companies are dependent on fewer servers, generally have smaller IT staffs, and lost time while waiting for data recovery could be more detrimental.  In fact, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics states that 93% of all companies that experience "significant data loss" are out of business within five years. As a result, even a single critical server failure could have a dramatic impact on a small business' financial and IT health.

The BDR solution uses a snapshot technology to build an image of your servers hard drives, and can be configured to make incremental backups as often as every 15 minutes.  Since it is based on hard drive technology, a restore process is relatively quick as compared to tape. With these 15 minute backup images the BDR software constructs daily, weekly and monthly backups.  You also have the option to push the backups offsite to redundant remote data centers.

With the BDR, if you lose a file, it can be restored from the local backup. If the server fails, you can bring up a virtual backup server and continue to do business in as little as two hours.  Or, if all of your equipment is lost due to fire or theft, you have the option to retrieve your data from the offsite storage. Also, if your backup server is stolen you can relax because your data is encrypted with a 256 bit encryption. Without a password there is no way someone can  gain access to the encrypted data.

For disaster recovery don't leave it to a guess.  You need to know that your solution will work.  It is better to know that you have a file level backup, a virtual server to fall back on, and for major catastrophic situations, an offsite backup.

Server downtime could cost you thousands of dollars an hour.  For a little more than the cost of a postage stamp per hour, you could have a total IT backup and 24x7 monitoring solution for your company.  Give us a call at 877 2IT-REPAIR  that is 877 248-7372.  Tell us about your business situation and let's work together to develop a plan that works for your company.
